We can’t say enough how happy we are with the way our wedding day went. It was such a pleasure seeing all of our family and friends and sharing the most important day of our lives with you! We’ve already seen loads of great pictures on Facebook. For those of you who aren’t on Facebook — and even for those of you who are — please share your pics of the wedding day with us and the rest of the guests on Flickr.

We set up a group where everyone with access can load pictures from the wedding. To access our shared group, visit: www.flickr.com and sign in as:

Login: westerdore

Password: wedding

Load anything you want to share with the rest of the guests. (And if you see anything sketchy, just let us know. We can remove anything that doesn’t belong there as administrators.)

If you didn’t take pictures yourself and just want to see what all the fuss is about, go to Flickr.com and search for “westerdore” under People to see what others have loaded.

This it totally what we’re wearing on Saturday!

Hi, everyone! We’re so excited to be less than one week away from the wedding. Just wanted to remind everyone about the shuttle service from the Lodge to the Lake House. There will NOT be parking available at the Lake House, so please park at the Lodge and catch the Shuttle there.

We’ll be running a bus that seats 14 and a van. Shuttle service will run between 5-6:15 PM before the wedding. Just head to the lobby and wait for the shuttle there. The shuttle and van should be clearly marked “Westerling/Isadore Wedding” so don’t get on the wrong one! 🙂

At the end of the night we’ll have shuttle service back to the Lodge from 11:00 until 12:30.

Rest assured there is ample parking at the Lodge so if you are staying elsewhere, you can park at the Lodge and take the shuttle to and fro.

Can’t wait to see you all this weekend!

P.S. Don’t forget the Welcome Reception Friday at the Lodge bar from 7-10 PM. Dress is casual so come as you are. See you then!

Wanted to share some information about the Spa at Geneva Ridge. Here you go!

All individual services are provided with a 10% discount for those staying at The Lodge at Geneva Ridge.

The Spa has put together a Stress Reliever package for your enjoyment.  It consists of the following services to provide a truly relaxing experience:

  • mineral bath to relax those tight muscles,
  • herbal wrap continues the relaxation process and activates the circulatory system,
  • a 30 minute Swedish massage geared to your specifications with light,
  • medium or firm massage and
  • your choice of either a 30 minute facial, scalp treatment or manicure.

Stress Reliever package includes an All Day Pass to the Indoor Pool & Fitness Center.  Your cost for all of these services is only $159. (This price includes all available discounts.)

To find out more about their services, please visit the website at:

We all know that there are only two truly important things about a wedding… music and booze… oh, wait, three… no, four. Hm. Regardless, the music is very important to us. That’s why we’re doing it ourselves!

We’ll be creating playlists for the party and are taking requests. What’s the one song that you *need* to hear to have fun at the party? Just leave us a comment and we’ll add it to the list. Note we do retain veto rights. (Sorry, Sam. No “Macarena” allowed.)

One month and counting! Eee gads!

Hopefully everyone is receiving their wedding invitations. We’re really excited with the way they turned out. Hope you like them as much as we do!

Please respond by adding a comment to the RSVP page, and let either of us know if you run into any issues or have any questions.

You’ll be receiving an invitation in the next couple of weeks for a Friday night open house at the Lodge. Ernie and Joanne are hosting cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres from 7-10 at the hotel bar as a way of welcoming everyone to Lake Geneva. So, if you’ll be in town, please join us!

Hope to talk to you all soon.

Hello, party people! Folks have been asking me what they should wear for the wedding and I’ve been giving the following advice:

  • Consider a sports coat/open collar look or sports coat with khakis
  • Maybe a colorful tie and no jacket
  • Perhaps a light colored suit with no tie

  • A bright colored or floral dress
  • Think cotton (It’s sure to be warm!)
  • Also, wear shoes that can be worn in the grass. The tent will likely be out in the yard.

No matter what you decide, just remember that most of the wedding will be outside and it will be late July, so consider heat and humidity. (Of course, the weather is *certain* to be perfect that day – I’ve already put in my request with Mother Nature.) 😉

Cheers and happy shopping!
